Problem finding settings in PCSX2 2.0.3
#1
I'm trying to fix some bugs in a game called Rogue Galaxy following the instructions on the PCSX2 wiki for that game, specifically this:

M
Quote:issing text
  • Status: Active
  • Type: Major
  • Affected Game Versions: PAL and Director's Cut
  • Description: Some UI and subtitles text can sometimes disappear. It seems to happen after a flashback cutscene when using the hardware renderer.
  • Workaround: Enable the Fast Texture Invalidation HW hack or use the software renderer during flashback cutscenes.
ncorre upscaling
  • Status: Active
  • Type: Minor
  • Description: All chests in the game have a white bloom around them. The bloom displays properly at the Native resolution but breaks when upscaling: the bloom is displayed but it's moved a bit to the side, it looks off.
  • Workaround: A somewhat-good compromise can be achieved by setting Round Sprites to Full and enabling Align Sprites, both in the hardware hacks menu.
Corrur textures
  • Status: Active
  • Type: Minor
  • Description: In Hardware mode some corrupt textures can be seen underneath the water. Also prevalent on waterfall area on forest world.
  • Workaround: Go to Config > Video (GS) > Plugin Settings, turn on "Enable HW Hacks", go to Configure Hacks and enable the "Preload Frame Data" hack.

Since version 2.0, I don't know where I can find those settings, I literally haven't been able to find any, and the one I need the most is the second one (the one where chests have a white bloom around them), but I don't know where the "Hardware Hack Menu" is, and therefore I don't know where the "Round Sprites" and "Align Sprites" settings are.

If someone could help me that would be awesome, because that bug is incredibly annoying.

they should be automatically applied ?

Please post a copy of the emulog.txt file so we can help you better.

Check Tools > Enable File Logging. If it is already checked, ignore this step.
If you ticked the box in the above step, restart PCSX2.
Click Tools > Open Data Directory to jump to your PCSX2 folder.
Reproduce your issue.
Close PCSX2, and do not open it again.
Go back to your PCSX2 folder. Open the logs folder, and upload the emulog.txt file to this channel.

Uploaded. By the way, the first bug (the only one that says Type: Major) doesn't occur to me, the only bugs that appear are the third one and, above all, the second one. I say this because I probably needed to say it and I didn't say it in the original post.

Using a BIOS file with PCSX2 which you have downloaded from the internet or from a PS2 console you do not own is illegal. You must own the console the BIOS file came from (even if it's broken) to be legal.

Our forum does not tolerate any kind of warez talk / discussion / links and no support will be given as such.
Read our rules, specifically rule #1. Thread closed.

You may appeal this decision by proving that you own the item in question and disposing of any pirated copies. Staff will want to see some visual proof that you own the item (E.g. A picture of the item with your forum username and the current date on a sticky note next to it).
