I've been playing Dirge of Cerberus these past few days and I've recently encountered bugs that block my progress in it. The 1st one was at the end of the boss fight in the Nibelheim Mansion after a few cutscenes I was stuck at a black screen which I managed to by pass thanks to the patchs that skips the FMV but now I'm at the end of Chapter 6 and once again I have a black screen but this time the patch doesn't work (to be precise it's when Cid arrives). Before I updated my PCSX2 it was causing a constant crash but after updating it's just a permanent black screen even with the patchs. I would love to know if there is a way to fix this problem. Thanks in advance for the help.

Please post the contents of the emulog.txt file after the problem occurs. The file can be found in "My Documents\PCSX2\logs" for the installer version or in "PCSX2\logs" for the portable/binary version.
Please make sure to enclose your emulog in code tags like so (remove the empty space on the closing code tag!):
[code]
Pasted emulog goes here

please drop romstation for pcsx2. it sucks
try loading from memcard instead of savestate
and lastly, give a try using your real PS2 DVD instead of iso
