Problem with for PC gamepad
#1
I purchased this gamepad from amazon: http://www.amazon.de/Gamepad-Vibration-C...gamepad+pc

I just moved to Germany for school and left my games and system behind (clothes took priority).

I am able to play FFXII just fine with my keyboard, but I can't use my new gamepad. What happens is that my cross, square, circle, and triangle are giving the same input as my right analog stick (buttons 0-3) and my left analog stick and d-pad are giving the same inputs as well (x and y axis).

I'm using windows 7 (64 bit) with lilypad.

Any ideas?

You should get youselfe something like this,
and use your "real" DualShock2; those "false" DualShock controllers are usually crap.

Furthermore, at least with the "real" DualShock2 you don't have to install any special drivers
(at least not on Vista and later); support is included in Windows.
I suggest you uninstall the included driver, then try out "Controll Panel > Hardware and Sound"
where you should find an option with a GamePad icon.

Sounds like the analog needs manual calibration. You can do so via the the windows gamepad configuration.
