I had a couple of errors with my Intel Core 2 Duo lately, so I had to restore my PC, losing everything. So, I reinstalled Pcsx2 and configured this:
Graphics: GSdx 2693 (MSVC 15.00, SSE3) 0.1.16
Sound: SPU2-X r2693 1.4.0
Cdvdrom: cdvdGigaherx (r2361) 0.80
Bios: Europe v020.00(14/06/2004) Console
Graphics | GSdx9
Resolution: 1024x768 60Hz
Renderer: Direct3D9 (Hardware)
Aspect Ratio: 4:3
Sound | SPU2-X Settings
1. - Linear (Recommended)
2. - DirectSound (nice)
cdvd Gigaherz
Source Drive - K:
CPU
GenuineIntel
Intel® Core2 CPU
2161 MHZ
MMx, SSE, SSE2, SSE3, SSSE3
Frame Limiting - Limit
Speed Hacks
Use x1.5 Cycle Rate
Enable IOP x2 Cycle Rate
Advanced
EE Recs
Chop/Zero
Clamp Mode: None
Flush to Zero
VU Recs
Chop/Zero
None
Flush to Zero
^ Ok, so this is the configuration I made after I installed it. I also put the March 2010 plugins in with it as well.
So, now I go to Run CD/DVD and it just comes up with a blank screen in the window that the game runs on. Nothing loads at all, but in the command box: Stuff like this keeps appearing:
+Sampling Profiler Results-
Then a load of text, but I spot ntdll.dll and SPUX-2.dll in every piece of text.
So, what's the problem?
I tried ZeroGS, and I get the same. Then I tried the beta and got the same, tried ZeroGS and it worked but the graphics were awful and the controls didn't work (I had configured and set them). Then I ran into a load of errors.
So, what have I done wrong or need to do?

First, disable the profiler, should be in Misc settings.
Then make sure you DISABLE all speed hacks, set both clamps to normal and update your directx: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/detai...6652cd92a3&displaylang=en

When I run, I also get this in the command box:
XML Loader returned an error. Trying to load a pnach...
No patch foun.Resuming execution without a patch <this is NOT an error>.
patchnumber: 0
HDD Enable:0
Would this have anything to do with it?
Also, I did what you said, but with the Direct X Updater, I got an internal system error, while installing components. I tried, and still no load.

Nope, that's normal and looks like the game boots properly.

That sounds really bad and should not happen in a healthy system. I guess this is where your problem lies.

What do you suggest that I do?
It just says:
"An internal system error has occured.
Please refer to DXError.log and DirectX.log in your Windows folder to determine the problem."
DirectX and Direct3D seem to be working fine and games like Tomb Raider work well.
EDIT: Ok, here's what I get from the DXError.log:

I hope that's not true..?
Anyway try the full download: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/detai...B8109CB4F5&displaylang=en
After you extract it, run DXsetup.exe

After I restored my PC, it split into 2 partitons.
The main one (HDD C: ) having only 15GB of space (and 10GB was already taken up).
And the other one with 300GB which I formatting and setup to be used myself. Most of my games and media are on there. So I just need to clear some space on the main HDD (where DirectX is set to) and try again.

OK, have you disabled speed hacks and set clamps to normal as i told you previously?
Also configure SPU2-X and set it to Dsound instead of XAudio 2. Try making an image of your game using imgburn (google it, it's free) and then running it with the linuz iso plugin

Yep, so I configured that with Linuz ISO CDVD 0.90, but then it says: "Error Loading I:FFX.PAL/FINAL_FANTASY_X/FINAL_FANTASY_X.iso"
Then, afterwards it says: "Error opening CDVD Plugin".
