If you mean your problem of not being able to boot the game no. If you have an ISO of the game and run it directly with linuz iso without having it mounted with any other program it should work fine. If it doesn't it means you have a bad ISO.
If you mean the low speed problem that you will get after you get it to run,probably yes. FFX is easy to emulate fast

Thanks a lot for your help, but I have one more question. Is there any way I can still save this ISO?

If you have a bad ISO only thing to do is make another one. Is there any kind of error the PCSX2 console window shows when you run the ISO?
