Problems with Star Ocean Till The end of Time.
Are there any fixes or plugins tweaking to increase the game speed?
During the and event, it got 40-45fps, while moving the character, i drop to 10-15, any advice?

I'm using 0.9.6 version,
My pc's only able to support SSE2.
I'm using Gsdx 890 graphic plugins. ;D

thanks!! ;D

NVidia GeForce 9500 GT
your CPu & GPu are a bit weaker than mine for pcsx2

Using speedhacks ( VU cycle stealing) & checking native res in gsdx options may help you a bit

Update pcsx2 and plugins to the latest beta versions for a nice speedup.
Beta version??

where is it?
Core i5 3570k -- Geforce GTX 670  --  Windows 7 x64
I also Have 9500GT PLZ use the Latest BETA 1888, which really speedup my Fps.
The latest GSDx has some huge speed improvements on this game. I normally use 1398 of GSDx since most games run better on it for me... but in Star Ocean, the game goes at about 1/2 speed. The newer versions since 1647 (the only version I have between latest SVN and 1398 is 1647) at the very least have had the game playing full speed with my CPU window sticking around 20% so a huuuuge improvement.
Try lowering your internal resolution. It eats a LOT of GPU-Performance. When I use 512x512, I have always full speed. On 1024x1024 it drops on scenes with much geometry down to ~60%. And Im using the PC in my signature.

Also Im using PCSX2 Build 1888 and GSDX 2111. The newest build of PCSX2 lacks of framelimiting and has a worse speed-improvement on geometry-scenes.

Im NOT using any speedhacks. They dont help if you play with 60% speed. They just help when you reach already fullspeed without problems. (fps-increase from 150% to 270% with speedhacks on)
*update signature*
