Problems with V2and not with V1.6.0

Hello

Is it normal that my games are running much better with the PCSX2 V 1.6.0???

With PCSX2 V2 many games are lagging and the speed of the ips is very low. I tested in OpenGL hardware or OpenGL Software i have the same issue .

WIth the V 1.6.0 my games are running well with openGL Hardware setting.

The only problem I encounter in V1.6.0 is with OUTRUN 2006 C to C europe: when I want to select a car , I can not see the car modeled. If I switch in opengl Sofware mode the Cars are displaying well but the game is too laggy in this mode.

In PCSX2 V2 i can see the car.....( in opengl harware mode) but the game is unplayable.
here is my configuration:

PC PORTABLE HP ZBOOK
processor: 11th Gen Intel® Core™ i7-1165G7 @ 2.80GHz  2.80 GHz
windows 11 PROFESSIONAL

highly possible you're gpu limited.
since 2.0 is more accurate than 1.6, it's not suprising requirements are higher.
make sure both your iGPU and dGPU are both up to date and use vulkan renderer instead

I understand that my GPU is not the best , but I can play without problems on RPCS3 games like TOMB RAIDER or NBA 2K14.

I checked that my igpu and dgpu are up to date.

irrelevant comparison since it's a different emulator, different games, different original hardware.

you're comparing apples and oranges

My bad for this comparison but I though games PS3 was demanding more ressources than games PS2.
NBA2K14 ( ps3 ) is running well at 50fps on my laptop.
Outrun 2006 (PS2) is running at 8% of full speed with PCSX2 V2 but it runs at 100% and 50fps with PCSX2 V1.

Please post a screenshot of the performance counters in the PCSX2 On Screen Display (OSD).

Where do I enable the counters?
Settings > Graphics > OSD

What boxes do I tick?
For best results, please tick all the boxes. This will add a lot of things to the screen, but you can turn them back off once we are done looking at the performance statistics.

Where do I take a screenshot?
Go to the part of the game where you are experiencing slowness/FPS drops, then take a screenshot with the counters on screen.

If the FPS loss is extremely short and hard to capture in a screenshot, record a short video instead. Windows users can record easily with Win + Shift + R. Mac users can record easily with Command + Shift + 5.
