Same as this thread?
https://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-No-interlacing-codes
#3
No, this makes games run in progressive mode so the games look sharper, that other thread just stops them from shaking
#4
Well, stopping from shaking at full resolution = 480p. They're turning 480i to 480p.
Otherwise every patch in that thread would produce 240p, simply dropping half the resolution.

When people make progressive scan hack for a real ps2 they make:

Progressive scan signal hack
Sdtv 480p Signal hack
Frame mode hack
Y fix hack

Are you sure that there isnt any benefit of having them along side no interlacing hack?

I mean all SMT games for ps2 have pnach files   progressive scan and sdtv 480p hacks along side no interlacing hacks

Also I know "Baroque" isnt shaking when i set interlacing option to none In Pcsx2 and when they ported the game to the wii they added progressive scan support.

I wasn't so lucky when i tried some of these codes. It would be good to make a list of these 480p codes in order to separate them from 240p codes with 480i signal according my tv.

Besides, finding codes with ASM understanding like this thread seems the way to go:
http://psx-scene.com/forums/f291/frame-b...dex10.html

It comes from Asasega ("Cybersled88") as well.
