Resolved: [Bug Report] Powerdrome [SLES_524.18]
#1
Like I've tested it in the compatibility section Powerdrome compatibility report, I'm still going to do a copy and paste of my rig and settings used.

1)Game title: Powerdrome
2)ELF name: SLES_524.18
3)Game CRC: 0x52085DF1

PC Specs:

CPU: Intel Core i5-3470 3.20Ghz
GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 650

Build Description: PCSX2 1.3.1 (git 20150804201044) (August 4 2015)
Plugins:
GS: GSdx 20150804201044 (SSE41)
PAD: LilyPad 20150804201044 0.11.0
SPU2: SPU2-X 20150804201044 2.0.0
CDVD: cdvdGigaherz 20150804201044 0.9.0
USB/FW/DEV9: All Null Driver

BIOS Used: Europe v02.00(14/06/2004) Console

EE/VU Clamp modes: Normal/Normal
EE/VU Rounding: Chop/Chop

This game suffers from a graphical artifact where it displays striped wide lines along the vertical section of the screen. I think these are related to how the games handles the skybox. Image of the bug and a GS dump is attached below.

what happens if you disable these aggressive speedhacks? What happens if you use zeroGS as gs plugin?

Everything it's the same. GSdx, ZeroGS, no speedhacks, all hacks, previous versions. It's a bug in the core itself, probably.

imho... it's not the same. zerogs renders a black screen. outdated. death. does the opengl renderer work in windows? i gotta try that. it's some render format stuff gregory might have fixed already. i'll check the git. *downloads master*

still a bit of work needed for gsdumpgui.

OpenGL works, but it doesn't fix the bug. This issue was reported more than once, I recall.
#6
What does works mean? Is the error always the same or does it alter with different settings/plugins?
#7
Means that I can use the OpenGL backend, but that the stripes are not fixed using it.
#8
well well... it's probably a lil more issue in the core. sync. or a pal issue. i got a ntsc dump. the GSReplay in OGL hardware mode renders it perfectly. good guess. and good work @gregory. Wink

@dabore Anything in the log? Automatic gamefix enabled and loaded? Pnach enabled and loaded?
#10
what log? nothing in the log. it was a gsreplay of another - a ntsc dump i created months ago.

it doesn't work ingame tho. even on all default. i ran thru all settings now. doesn't fix it. *shrugs*

i dunno... yet!?!
