Qemu USB plugin (formerly known as USBqemu-wheel)
Dunno about Hot Pursuit specifically but yeah, DInput is not very accurate still and sometimes can be softer than it should. But from api list select 'Raw input' and be sure to sett 'FFB Device'. It sends logitech FFB commands straight to wheel so should be closest to PS2 experience. Now, on G27 the effects may or may not be stronger than intended by game devs because HW differences with older DF/DFPro wheels so be prepared.

Using Raw Input I need to map the controls? Or it will map as on the PS2?

How do you map the dpad? Iirc raw input registers the dpad as axis, click the 'Hatswitch' button to map and click any direction. Works for me™, hah. Up/down etc buttons are for keyboards, gamepad buttons and the like.

The data writes to usb can slow it down, been meaning to rewrite it to some kind of threaded mode. In GT4 it wobbles around 100% speed for me.

Thanks.
I was trying to map the Up/Down buttons.
I will stick to using my ps2 for now since my pc can't handle it.
I'm on windows. Running it on Linux would be better?

Hello

thanks for great initiative. I am using Ubuntu 14.04 LTS, 64 bits, intel i7. I have installed PCSX2 and trying to  use Rock Band 2. All seems to be working fine, except microphone, Logitech one.

For that i tried to set up Qemu USB Wheel. I downloaded .deb packages and tried to install those both Software center and Terminal, but get a version error:

ZBOX-LiuX:~/Downloads$ sudo dpkg -i libusbqemu-wheel-unstable_0.6.1-1_i386-gcc-6.deb
Selecting previously unselected package libusbqemu-wheel-unstable.

dpkg: dependency problems prevent configuration of libusbqemu-wheel-unstable:

 libusbqemu-wheel-unstable depends on lib32stdc++6 (>= 5).
 libusbqemu-wheel-unstable depends on libc6-i386 (>= 2.4).

However version are as:
Package lib32gcc1:
p   1:4.9-20140406-0ubuntu1                       trusty
p   1:4.9.3-0ubuntu4                              trusty-updates
i   1:7.2.0-1ubuntu1~14.04                        trusty

Package libc6-i386:
p   2.19-0ubuntu6                                                                                                 trusty
i   2.19-0ubuntu6.13

Package lib32stdc++6 :  (this package version I need to check in Synaptic Package Manager, in terminal 'aptitude versions lib32stdc++6' does not report it)
7.2.0-1ubuntu1~14.04

Any idea why I get such error? Any idea what to do next?  Is the last lib not visible to Qemu?

Try the other dpkgs like with gcc-4.9 or gcc-5, dunno which is in trusty by default. Have to check, brainfarting right now.

Thanks for prompt reply Jackun

Anyone can confirm if Virtua Racing Flat Out have force feedback?
For me it only have the center spring effect.
The game requires GT FORCE mode.
