I hope this isn't out of line as I know how SVN isn't normally to be discussed in the forums, but I did not think that posting an "issue" per say on googlecode was the correct approach as I can understand the frustration for devs to have to sift through all the issues posted to refine the svn, so I will just ask here.
Revision r1888 of pcsx2 appears to have front-end support, meaning that I can use it with Hyperspin or MediaPortal or most other front-ends just fine, no issues. I was wondering if that support will continue into the new revision since as of now the current SVN under the new GUI does not appear to work with front-ends. I really like some of the things about the newer version (esp vsync, somehow it is much faster than with the gdsx plugin handling vsync - I can actually play SoC with it enabled! - perhaps some other things are sped up in the latest SVN that makes it possible - even legacy gui from SVN isn't as fast when having to enable vsync with gsdx), so was hoping that front-end support would continue in the new GUI.
Again, if this is out of line, then I do apologize, just wanted to know.
EDIT: Just read this: http://forums.pcsx2.net/thread-12669.html
Guess that explains why vsync works better with new GUI? Anyway, wasn't related to topic. In fact, I wasn't aware of developer forum so move to that if I posted this in the wrong section.
