Hi, I apologize in advance if this is the wrong place to ask this, but I couldn't find any other reports of this issue.
I'm playing the first vid comic in R&C 3, and the robotic space eel that's supposed to show up in the middle and end of the comic simply isn't there. The blaster spawns normally, and the music at the end also plays regularly. However, no rocks fall and no boss appears, leaving me unable to complete the level. After the first time it's supposed to show up, I hear the sound of the eel moving throughout the rest of the comic. It looks pretty normal, just without the boss.

These are settings I'm using:

My emulation settings are set to Preset 3 - Balanced. It's so strange I even doubt it's a pcsx2 problem, but then again... I don't know.

Please post the contents of the emulog.txt file after the problem occurs. The file can be found in "My Documents\PCSX2\logs" for the installer version or in "PCSX2\logs" for the portable/binary version.
Please make sure to enclose your emulog in code tags like so (remove the empty space on the closing code tag!):

But there's no more here. o-o I think I'm in the right place. Documents > PCSX2 > logs > EmuLog.txt right?

Oh, I feel stupid. You probably wanted the other emulog, not the one in Documents. I'm sorry, I'm clueless. >< The one in Documents was still showing the same text.

Ratchet and Clank Up Your Arsenal has a widescreen patch provided in the widescreen patch archive that ships with PCSX2. Funny enough, this patch causes this exact problem. Uncheck the Widescreen Patches box in the first drop down menu (I apologize but I don't remember the name), do a full boot of the game, and you should be good to go. Dont use save states, make sure you actually load from a memcard.
