ROGUE galaxy crash

i'm playing rogue galaxy english version

now. my problem is that it crashes at a certain scene.

and the log says that

using PCSX2 0.9.8, the version that is on the download section
and it's all set to default

playing it with the ripped DVD game.

any help? tnx.

what do you mean, beacause it coiuld be the problem

Try with the original disc.

In that case please post your PCSX2 settings, Plugin settings and if possible a memcard before before the problem happens. What scene is it anyway?

everything is default to what is installed from the setup of pcsx2 0.9.8

GSDX 4600 gsdx ssse3--- dx 10 native
lilypad svn (r4510) using dualshock
SPU2-X r4600m
Linuz ISO

and emulation settings are default..

it is the scene on rosa after finding the tablet.. that's it...

I am having the same problem. I've heard that its because its a dual layer disk and PCSX2 doesn't work well with those, is there any way around the issue? I'm using the DVD to play, but I've tried making an ISO with imgburn and that also hasn't worked.

do you have a web camera take a shot on your original disk on both front and back if it's in clean or scratchy condition,

No don't have a web cam, but its not scratched or anything. Just having a problem when the disk is supposed to change the layer it reads, has anyone else played the game to completion on PCSX2 using the disk?

imgburn reads dual layer dvd's just fine, so either your disk is ***** or the Drive lacks the required media speed codes for Dual layer Sony DVD's.
