So for the past few days I've been playing GoW 1 and 2 and I've faced some strange lag/freezing/stuttering for a brief 1 or 2 seconds. It occurs randomly after every 4 or 5 minutes. Both games run at 60 fps full speed with no frame drops between but only during this problem the frame drops to 40 and then jumps back to 60. I've noticed this same problem in other games as well where they run stable with no lag. I'm pretty sure its random since I'm unable to replicate the problem in game. Running the games from an iso file.
I'm using the 3rd Preset on emulation settings with EE cyclerate set to 1 and MTVU checked. Rest are default.
My Video settings:
My PC specs
CPU : Ryzen 5 3600
GPU : Nvidia GTX 1660 super
I'm not sure if this is normal for everyone as its not game breaking in any way but its kind of annoying when gaming or watching cinematic. Any help would be appreciated.

what do the EE% and gs% say when your fps drops ?

Weirdly when i tried to notice the EE% and GS% second time by screen recording i faced no problems.
I've seen some people saying the audio settings affect the fps sometimes, I've only changed the interpolation to 4 Catmull-Rom and everything else is default.

Please post the contents of the emulog.txt file after the problem occurs. The file can be found in "My Documents\PCSX2\logs" for the installer version or in "PCSX2\logs" for the portable/binary version.

Can you tell me what these error codes mean?

I'm actually Using the Ryzen Balanced Power Plan instead of the high performance. Since The Ryzen balanced power plan functions like high performance when on load but I'll switch to it and test.
Also does having a higher RPM hard drive cause less micro stuttering?

I think the problem finally got fixed, switched to Ryzen High Performance mode and additionally moved my iso files to my 7200 RPM HDD from my previous 5400 RPM HDD. Now just played GoW 2 without any micro lag or freezing. Thanks for the help!
After closing the game and viewing the program log I'm still noticing some error messages being displayed. Is it something to worry about?
