So I found another thread about this that said to press F9 to fix the textures, which it did. But now it's running at 50% speed & really fugging annoying to play.
My question is can I allocate more ram/gpu power to pcsx2 so it can handle it without lag?
PC Specs: CPU:FX8120 octo-core (overclocked at 3.5 always)
GPU: R9 380 4gb
RAM: 8gb - 1600mhz

Use latest git and enable mipmapping
Your CPU isn't beefy enough to run this game correctly in software mode

Connecting your ps2 to a screen should be possible with the appropriate adapter, iirc
