Ratchet & Clank 3 runs very slow

(Before i start; i have already looked through multiple threads about slowdowns in Ratchet and clank, but none of the fixes that were mentioned seems to fix it)

Hey!

I got some problems running "Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal" smoothly. When i start the game it runs fine in cutscenes/menu's at a stable 60 FPS. But as soon as i get in-game it will drop to 20-40 FPS making it feel like slowmotion. I have tried other games such as FFX/FFXII and have been able to run them just fine.

My Specs:
Windows 7 Home Premium
8Gb DDR3 ram
AMD Phenom™ II x4 965 Processor - 3.4 Ghz.
Geforce GTX 550 Ti 1gb

I have tried running the game with all the Video Presets, and also been messin around with them myself, such as Base Framerate increase, frameskipping etc.

I also tried using all the speedhacks one at a time, but still nothing helps there.

Would be nice if someone got an idea what i can do to fix it!

try software mode its the only solution im afraid.
set the threads to 3 or 4 and your good to go, beware tho, its not in glorious hd then xD

or try some of the reccomended speedhack (mtvu, EEcycle to 2 and VU to 1. dont expect miracle tho )
