Ratchet and Clank 3 is so hard to run. You start with terrible textures which you can fix by pressing F9, But then the game lags to hell. It was going smoothly until I got to aquatos, Then it really started to tank. Speedhacks and other "fixes" don't help much, and sometimes even speed up the game to unplayable limits! I really hope this gets fixed and soon, because I want something great to play as I wait for the steam summer sales.

Textures are among others mipmapping issues, which won't be solved before summer.
Speed issues are universal, even most high-end PC's still struggle with this game. You might be able to improve performance(depending on your PC specs), but don't expect a completely smooth game from start to finish regardless.

then learn patience or coding to implement mipmapping in gsdx.
or play it on your PS2 until steam summer sales

Overclock your cpu for better fps in software mode. Im certain most pcsx2 users are hopeful of the mipmapping issues being fixed so we can boost the internal res before hitting poor fps.
