Reccomended configuration

Hey everyone, this is my first post here. I'm willing to try PCSX2. Here are my computer specs:

CPU - Intel® Core™ 2 Duo E7300 CPU @ 2.66GHz 1066FSB 3MB L2 Cache 64-bit

OS - Windows XP Home Edition SP3 32bit

Motherboard - Gigabyte GA-EG31M-S2 Intel G31 Chipset LGA775 FSB1333 DDR2 Mainboard

RAM - 3GB PC6400 DDR2/800 Dual Channel Memory (Corsair or Major Brand)

HDD - Single Hard Drive (500GB SATA-II 3.0Gb/s 16MB Cache 7200RPM HDD)

Drive - Sony 20X Double Layer Dual Format DVD+-R/+-RW + CD-R/RW Drive

Grafix Card - NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GT 512MB 16X PCI Express


Sound Card - High Definition On-Board 7.1 Audio (but I have 2 speakers, ironically)

Can anyone give me a recommended set of settings I should apply to PCSX2 when I'm setting it up? Any good plugins I should search for that are really compatible with what I got here?
