Hi, I'm pretty tired and annoyed right now so I am sorry if I a bit irritable. Anyways, I have been trying for a while to get my PCSX2 program to a point in where I am comfortably play games at a nice framerate but I have gotten no where even though my PC is obviously powerful enough to run PS2 games.

My SPECS are as follows;

OS - Windows 10 Pro
CPU - FX-4130
RAM - 6.00GB Dual-Channel DDR3
Motherboard - ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. M5A97 R2.0
GPU - 4095MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960

So yeah, if any of you wizards can tell me how I could speed anything up gimme a comment on this thread - If you need anymore information, ASK AND DONT COMPLAIN BEFORE DOING THAT.

Thanks <3

your cpu is rather weak actually. many games will be slow for you. will let others explain single thread ratings. anyway, try pcsx2 1.5 to see if it is faster https://pcsx2.net/download/development/dev-windows.html

Your PC is unfortunatly not powerful enough to run most PS2 games at full speed and really a lot at even playable-ish speeds (like 60-70% speed). You have a really nice GPU and an CPU that is well below the minimum recomended.

We normally recommend single threaded passmark scores around 1,600 for non demanding titles and 2,000 for demanding ones

Your CPU is 1,251 so about 3/4 the recommended minimum. My guess is a lot of games are running somewhere between 50-70% speed, with some even worse. You can try and overclock the CPU if that is an option with the CPU and Motherboard and that might help a little and you can try this

Odds are changing settings just to improve performance will lead to crashes and other odd behavior in game so warning not supported.
