Specs:
AMD X6 Phenom II 1055t - 2.8GHz
MSI GTX560ti Hawk
4GB ram 1600
Windows 7 32bit.

PCSX2 version - Revision 5087
Default settings used(just change the D3D9 to D3D11 Hardware).
Currently tested games(FFX,FFX2,KH,KH2). Games come from my kindhearted friend(original dvd converted to ISO using PowerISO), BIOS is from my PS2.

I was able to play the games with stable 60fps. My friend recommended Shadow of Colossus to me(he let me borrow it), and the game lags on my pc.

So can you recommend games(RPG genre) that has a 'low' requirements. and that can run smooth on my machine.

I've read quite a lot that AMD cpu has a disadvantage to Intel.

The Benchmark thread would disagree with you on it being a small disadvantage.

2.8GHZ AMD won't cut it for some games.

53.33 FPS - SLUS 20672 - AMD Phenom II X6 1055T - 3.33 GHz OC

66.12 FPS - SLUS 20672 - Intel Core i5 2500K - 3.3 GHz Stock

Big difference.

He'll see alot of FPS dips in the games mentioned. Not aall the time, but certain parts of the games you recommended will hit like 35FPS...which is rough.

Idk.
Persona series maybe????????
To be more specific about wrestling you can ask me Smile
See WWE Smackdown Vs. Raw 2011 runs fine on my rig................. i.e. untill I end up playing with my cousins a 6-man Hell in a Cell or the ever-so-famous Elimination Chamber match which usually drops the FPS from a smooth 55-60 to a stutter-y 37-45.......
While I would recommend WWE Smackdown Vs. Raw 2008 since it's less stressing and can run much better on that rig too.
Try maybe:
Onimusha 3
Resident Evil 4

Sorry that's all I can come up with rightnow (been suffering from cold for a while now)......
Hoping that helped Smile

Except if you're up to paying for the PC versions of those games so the guy can get them, that's not an advice in an emulation forum.

When FFX ran fine, FF12 will too.

Ar Tonelico 1 and 2 will definitely run, as they don't use the vector units most of the time.
These are weird games though, you either love or hate them Tongue2

Give the dot.hack series a try. The g.u. series has better gameplay in my opinion. Both have really good stories though.

.hack, the first series is alot easier to emulate than G.U.
