thanks for posting this may be your on board graphics card that is causing the problem.

I dont' think that the onboard graphic card causes the problem. It's pretty often problem with this foggy thing anyway. To fix the problem you should use the latest beta of GSDX or the modified one for GoW only. You can find the official beta plugin in its topic on this board, but the modified one you need to google by yourself because its againts the forum rules to give a direct link to unofficial modified versions of plugins.

Oh, and if you are able to, use the DX10 render mode. If you don't own Vista you can download Win7 RC1 from Microsofts site for free, and use it till June 2010 when the beta testing is over, then you should buy it(or not), and use hardware mode against the software one cause this is realy slow. If the problem with low fps still remains you should change your graphic card. Use speed hacks too.

I think his issue is the invisability of characters rather than his lame speed Tongue2

you need gsdx rev 1145 mod ,that eliminates fog in GOW 1 and 2 ,also you need some speed hacks and VU cicle stealing

update your graphicas at least Closedeyes
