PCSX2 1.0.0 crashes and takes my graphics card drivers with it when entering a race (crashes desktop + Catalyst Control Center).

What info can I provide to help you debug this?
test report:

i5 760 @ 4.0ghz
8gb ddr3 RAM

gran turismo 4 pal - fully playable, use EE/IOP FULL / vu's Exrtra + preserve. use ingame brightness to 0 to fix the rest of the graphical bugs

didnt use any specific modes but i have finished nurhburg ring without any complications. (race of ~7 minutes per lap)
i had the same problem but when i used boot cdvd fast, it's solved.

is your bios set to french or something?

try clearing your memory cards (or making new ones) and delete the .nvm file in your bios directory.
