Client used: Public Beta PCSX2 0.9.9 r4657

Specifications: 3326MB RAM (4GB), Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 5770, Intel Pentium XII Xeon Processor (4 cores - each clocked at 2.33Ghz), Microsoft Windows XP Professional (32-bit)

CPU options: All options are default. No speedhacks used. Tried both MicroVU and SuperVU.

Plugins: GSdx 4643 (SSE4), LilyPad r4656, SPU-X r4619, cdvdGigaherz r4488.

Description: Upon bootup, PCSX2 will hang and a black screen will be shown. Anyways, I need this to work so I can mock THQ. Console logs below.

Wasn't this resolved way back when the Path 3 Masking hack was first introduced?

It should be, but someone needs to boot the game with the latest PCSX2 to make sure before we close it in case of some other booting issue or regression.

Use the GIF FIFO gamefix, it replaced the Path3 reverse DMA hack

The fix is in the GameIndex, so there should be no need to select a gamefix. Wink

Indeed it is Smile Well it works now anyway (just tried it), this thread is archaic, it can be moved to resolved.
