Resolved: [Bug Report] Legacy of Kain : Soul Reaver 2 [PAL]

# Description:
The game audio will randomly glitch when switching from spectral to material realm, causing the game music to break and play in weird tones. Though when this happens, the game will remain perfectly playable and sound effects will still work properly in gameplay.

However, once this glitch happens, the next cutscene will have no dialogue and the game will systematically freeze, making it impossible to continue playing.

I have tried tinkering with every options of the sound plugin to no avail, there is no way to prevent this glitch from happening other than disabling sound.

As I said in the other thread related to this, if there is a specific point in the game where this bug happens every time (and not randomly) then a savestate right before that point may prove useful.

Unfortunately I haven't found a way to make the bug happen every time. It does however happen way more often than not.

This happens for me in the NTSC-U release too.

Confirmed... The game its unplayable with sound enabled.

Can you test with the latest git version. Don't use a savesate, but start a new game or load a memorycard save instead. I couldn't reproduce the stall anymore(the sound itself is still messed up). It could have been fixed by my recent SPU2-X change. Though once the issue is triggered, by using a savestate from an older PCSX2 build, it will still freeze even with the latest git.

Ok I tested the game with the lastest complied version v1.5.0-dev-2263-g24b83fd96  ... I right now PCSX2 it's not crashing like it did before (see soul1.jpg) but now its like stuck on an endless cinematic playing crappy/statics sounds (see soul2.jpg).

All was tested without using any method of save (quick save or memory card save). The images are from the firsts 7 mins of a new game..when you have to go to the spectral realm for the first time and return... Thanks 4 all your work.
