I know this is an old thread, but just to point out that issues 1 and 3 have now been fixed in the recent dev builds. In the case of issue 3, you must set blending accuracy to 'high' - this has very little impact on performance.

In terms of issue 2, I'm not sure about that one. It's a pretty small issue though.

With the options of the PC port, emulation through PCSX2 and RPCS3, I'd say the best way to play MGS2 is now via PCSX2 since it closely resembled Hideo Kojima's original vision, just upscaled for higher fidelity.
