So, can you please fix this for me? I would love to have this game working. Thanks for your attention.

Updatey!

The memory card check issue is fixed. YAY!
BUT the game is still unplayable in r609 'cause it shows the EA logo and then the screen goes black and nothing else happens.

Pictures:

1-You can see Kent Brockman, and he has a face! (GSDX 1.14 r891)

2-The EA logo. Nope, not a loop, it goes next to...

3-...a black screen, then nothing else.

4- The PP r609 console

But it's an advance at least! There's no memory card issue and no EA logo loop, so, it's something! Thanks!

Ok, I should check the stable version (0.9.4), to see how's going there.
Picture 5- Tested. Nope, nothing new as you can see here.

Uhm, from the console log there, it seems you're using patches. As of today it's generally not suggested, very few games need them (I know 2). Disable patches and try again...
#6
Ok, I'll disable the patches and will test again.

Tested! Nope, still the same. Even without patches, I get the same black screen, then nothing else happens.

Updatey again!

Well, I've tested the ZeroGS 0.9.7.1 PPr615 plugin with the stable version (0.9.4), and now it kinda works, only it crashes a few seconds after. Take a look!

Screenshots:

1- The graphics are still messy alright, but you can see that the pink rectangle is not there anymore! YAY! Tongue

2- BUT, when you reach the bridge to punch the chocolate bunnys, everything goes awry and slow; then the emu crashes... so... yep, still unplayable.

But great work guyz again!! Maybe you guys could show this to gabest?

New update!
Using the stable version with the updated plugins ZeroGS and ZeroSPU2, the game now gets officially in-game.

Game data:
CRC 206779D8
SLES_549.04

Version used: PCSX2 0.9.4 (couldn't test it on the Playground version since it's still not working.)
CPU config
MTGS checked
DualCore mode checked
VuRec0 and VuRec1 checked
Using normal frame limit mode

Plugins used:
- ZeroGS 0.9.7.1 (PP r663)
- ZeroSPU2 0.4.6 (PP r663)
Resolution: 640x480
Fullscreen option activated.

My pc:
Intel Core2Duo E7300 2.66Ghz
Gigabyte G31-G31M-S2C motherboard
XFX 8800GS 384MB PCI-e
2x1GB DDR2 800MHZ Kingston
HITACHI 500GB SATA-2
Windows XP SP3

Picture 1 - The graphics are still messy and they're blinking constantly. But, as you can see, there's no more crashes here, so, it's in-game.

Now...
- I've tested Playground version r664, but still gives the same black screen bug, so, couldn't test it there.

- The GSDX r895 plugin is still giving the save pink rectangle bug.

BUT...
Picture 2 - The graphics are fixed if you configure the GSDX in Software mode, thought not recommendable 'cause Software mode generates a huge big dropdown on FPS, so, yeah, it's kinda slow.

And also, it crashes afterwards. So, there you go. A big improvement, huh? Keep the good work, guyz!

New update!
Game now passes through FMV's alright. It seems it was working on previous revisions, but it was hanging on the EA logo 'cause I didn't disable the EE x2 IOP hack on Speed Hacks menu. The game is now again unplayable after Homer's Chocolate land intro video.

Game data:
CRC 206779D8
SLES_549.04

Version used: PCSX2 r455/PCSX2 r463/PCSX2 r485
CPU config
MTGS checked
DualCore mode checked
VuRec0 and VuRec1 checked
Using normal frame limit mode

Plugins used:
- ZeroGS 0.97.1 r455/GSDX r463/GSDX r484
- ZeroSPU2 0.4.6 r463
Resolution: 640x480
Fullscreen option activated.

My pc:
Intel Core2Duo E7300 2.66Ghz
Gigabyte G31-G31M-S2C motherboard
XFX 8800GS 384MB PCI-e
2x1GB DDR2 800MHZ Kingston
HITACHI 500GB SATA-2
Windows XP SP3

Pictures 1 & 2 & 3:
You can see clearly that I skipped Homer's FMV by pressing Start, but then the emulator crashes.

ok, do me a favour. Edit your posts, take away the ridiculous external link, and attach the images to the post using the New Attachment: feature at the bottom of the page.

It's there precisely to avoid people using external images links
