well, i don't know much about opencl but, you can use the ternary operator over the if operator to save length of the codes.that's as far as the optimization, i could find in the given codes.
We're supposed to be working as a team, if we aren't helping and suggesting things to each other, we aren't working as a team.

Search ocl string

The gui try to poll some devices informations => GSUtil::GetDeviceDescs

So I was right. Wow I made a good educated guess! Cool

The job is to fix the crash, guessing is not enough Tongue2

By the way it could be related to a bad opencl installation. Besides is it a crash or an unexpected exception? I'm afraid it is the former, and likely in the opencl lib.

What's weird is the following:

It worked before driver update.
But not after.
Even after rolling back.
Even after driver cleaning.

It makes me wonder if the issue really is PCSX2, or if it's Nvidia causing us grief again.

Well I don't know. On linux opencl is separated of the main driver maybe there is some conflict with an intel opencl implementation. It would be very useful to have backtrace, so you can find the culprit (us or nvidia).

Yeah, I can't help with that since I'm full AMD. Hopefully vsub can.

And how to do that(I hope it will not require installing some huge program just for a test)
#38
It does. Visual Studio is immensely useful though Wink

Interesting to see it is a ongoing issue, I should mention with mine I used Direct3D settings and do not use opencl so its not as if I had it selected in plugins.

Yeah, that's the same for vsub. But it's polling OCL in the config dialog.
