Resolved: Latest Dev Builds not loading... on WinXP-Pro

In my case, that don't fix the problem.
I'm using 1024x768 screen resolution and the window size is 640x480 and setting a compatibility mode to not use themes doesn't help either.

yes, that doesn't work for me either on my old rig Sad
We're supposed to be working as a team, if we aren't helping and suggesting things to each other, we aren't working as a team.

I found a cause of the problem and fixed it. Resizing loop happened when the problem occurred. I don't know a reason why such a problem happened under certain conditions, but this fix would work fine.
And one thing. I don't know about the Debugger, so someone who familiar with the Debugger should test this fix. Smile

Here are my environment for test:

Windows XP (x86) (Oracle VM Virtual Box)
- The problem occured: 1085 x 802, 1152 x 864
- My monitor range: 800 x 600 - 1152 x 864

Windows 7 (x86)
- The problem occured: 1152 x 864, 1280 x 960, 1280 x 1024
- My monitor range: 800 x 600 - 1280 x 1024

Tada's commit hasn't been pushed yet, devs are busy. I will build it here in a minute and post it for testing.

Here it is. I tested it with classic on Windows 7 and the hang is gone. This is the latest GIT source, + tadatada's fix:

PCSX2 1.3.0 (25, October, 2014 + tadatada fix)

Please anyone who tests it report back!

Thanks. My build environment is Visual Studio 2012 for my other applications like PCSX2OTC, so my build is needed Visual C++ 2012 redist, and also needed w32pthreads.v4-dbg.dll somehow even build the Release version. VS 2012 build settings of pcsx2 may be old. That's why I cannot provide a binary file. Also I cannot create a whole package because I cannot build plug-ins.

And I tested your build on my PC with #23 testing environment, and no problem. (at least regarding booting the pcsx2.exe)
