Resolved-Workaround: Ace Combat 4 - Missing HUD
#1
In some missions, especially night missions (in this case, Operation Bunker Shot and Emancipation), the HUD either partially/completely doesn't shows up in HUD-only view and external/outside view, although it shows up just fine in other missions and cockpit view (strangely).

This never happen in older (before svn 5xxx CMIIW) SVN, as I used to complete the game several times using pre-5xxx svn and never encounter such issue. This problem still occurs even in the recent 1.0.0 version.

Here's the config:

Configs:
-Speedhack: balanced preset
-Both EE & VU0 & VU1 Advanced Recompiler clamping mode: normal
-GSDX: DX10 HW, no problem found if using SW mode (which fixes the texture problem as well).

edit: I just noticed that I've posted in the wrong subforum, please move it into the right subforum Tongue

Can you pinpoint in which revision the problem started? Use the buildbot to get older versions: http://buildbot.orphis.net/pcsx2/

After further experiment, the problem starts from svn 4833 (the first time GSDX 4833 was used). It didn't occur using svn 4832 and below, which still using the older GSDX 4828.

Hmm ok try this:
Open your GSdx.ini and add this line at the bottom of the file: CrcHacksExclusions=all

Save it and see if the problem goes away

Bug is resolved by setting CRC Hack Level in Video Plugin Settings to "None (Debug)".
