It was incredibly stupid on my part. I had thought the first pop up when you start Volume 2 was the import. Since it didn't detect anything on the memory card. I knew it had the import at the beginning (its been several years) So I eventually gave up, and just hit new game. So the new game started, and asked if I wanted to import the save file which I already had. That's when I face palmed and hit yes and there it was lol. Ready to get my game on.

Sorry for being a total waste of time.
