Revert cheat Monster Hunter G Jap

Hello !
I have been messing around with Monster Hunter G and trying some cheats I found on a japanese website.
The issue is the code changes values, and when deactivating the cheat, it does not changes them back.

I tried to use a code that, when I use an item, instead of dropping the number of items, puts it at its maximum stack. 
Exemple : I have 5 potion, I use 1, instead of now having 4, I have 10, the maximum number I can carry. 

I tried CE to find the exact value since I have the code, but I do not seem able to make it work.
I cannot use a earlier save, a big mistake on my part was to save because I forgot the cheat was enable and I didn't reset the game beforehand.

My question being, with the use of a new save without the cheat enabled, cheat engine and your help, is there a way for me to find and revert the value to its original state and rescue my savefile from infinite potion oblivion?

You should be able to save to mem card (not savestate) and then shut down PCSX2 and restart. This should reset the offset value to normal. Then just sell off extra potions etc.

You could also try to change value of code so your items would not be maxed out like this:

patch=1,EE,204CBDD8,extended,24020005

So now when an item is used you would have 5 instead of being maxed out.

EDIT: also don't forget to turn code off in your pnach first.
