Ripping models?

So im wanting to use the tracks from Speed Racer in other games but using ninjaripper makes them flat, Shift + F8 only makes a screenshot and gs.xz file but no obj (Yes the shift+f8 was done on 0.9.8)

Also tried ninjaripper on the nightly build with no avail
