Rock Band Drum Mapping
#1
I have Rock Band and a set of Rock Band 3 drums. PCSX2 is able to see the drums. The issue I have is when mapping the pads it maps button 31 in addition to the normal button for each of the colors. I cannot see to fix this. In the game itself if I hit the yellow pad all the pads light up as if I hit them all. I did not do anything to configure the drums I just plugged in the USB dongle and told PCSX2 that a rock band drum kit was plugged into USB port 1. I had to configure the buttons and pads. Right now I have the following which I don't think is correct:

Blue: SDL-0/Button21 & SDL-0/Button31
Green: SDL-0.Button22 & SDL-0/Button31
Red: SDL-0/Button23 & SDL-0/Button31
Yellow SDL-0/Button24 & SDL-0/Button 31

Any help would be much appreciated.

You can try creating a new controller profile and giving it a name you like. Once created, select it under ‘Edit profile: ’.
Go to USB port 1 and add the Rock Band Drum Kit controller.
Map it as you did initially. Then close PCSX2 and go to the PCSX2 folder located in the ‘Documents’ folder (if you're using the default installation) or inside the PCSX2 folder (if you have the portable.ini file inside the PCSX2 folder).
Now that you are inside that folder, find a folder called ‘inputprofiles’.
Open it and the controller mapping profile configuration file you created earlier should appear.
Open it with a text file editor and find where it says ‘[USB1]’.
Delete all duplicate instances where it says, for example, ‘RBDrumKit_Blue = SDL-0/Button 31’.
Save and exit after deleting all of them. Open PCSX2 and see if the problem has been solved.
Also open the controller settings and apply your new profile.  (Be aware that this deletes all global binds that were changed and loads the new profile)
I hope it works for you.
