Comments:
The game played quite smoothly. It was mostly running above 50 FPS. I only met two problems:
1) A few cut scenes, about 5, were rendered corrupted. The particular scenes depicted events in the past of the characters. The solution is to hit F9 and watch them in Software mode.
2) First time on planet Vedan, in Myna while walking around especially near the trolley, the characters jump in an "out of bounds" area. They appear walking on air, the graphics are corrupted and you can't return in the game's normal area. After playing around with the emulation settings, I found that with VU Round Mode set to Positive for this area, the problem is fixed.

Thanks for the configuration posts guys, I might be bumping a really old topic (not sure how compatibility list works!) but I just wanted to post here to help out some of those who experienced the same problem I did.
Apparently if you have an Nvidia card, this game has a lot of graphical anaomlies like missing textures or screen tearing and jitterness.
After playing around with my settings, it looks like the team was one step ahead and the Nvidia HW hack fixes this issue.

Comments:
Using OGL HW, you don't need the game fix on this version. Using D3D(11/9) HW, you need the game fix for the flashback cutscenes to not be corrupt. Also use the HW hack called Preload Frame Data for fixing the water on the HW renderer.
Bugs:
You randomly get OOB on Vedan in Myna, so make sure to save often, or use VU round mode positive on this planet. Else everything worked perfectly fine, I completed Rogue Galaxy multiple times on PCSX2.
