If you want to speed-up your boot time then you should remove unnecessary programs from the start-up list.
To do this, go into the Start menu search bar and type "msconfig". A program should be found as a result. Run it.
From here you should go to the Startup tab and uncheck any programs you don't want running at startup.
Just a tip - Some programs have the annoying ability to re-add themselves to the startup list. To fix this you'll have to disable them from running at startup using their own options panels.
Don't screw around with Services. It can cause things to not work correctly if you disable one you need. Only do so if you know what you're doing / know what services do.
