Running 2 PCSX2 processes is better
#1
I found out that running two makes games perform better than running with one.

My PC has a Intel Xeon E3-1230 v5 Skylake (and a RX 480, but that doesn't matter in software mode), and I have noticed that running multiple threads in software mode sucks, so I have to use a single thread.

I spent a lot of time messing with settings to get the best settings in Ace Combat 04, but I accidentally started up two PCSX2's without noticing and started the game up with the same settings and noticed that the game runs two times as fast.

I don't know what else to put here because I did this with only one game, but I would love to know if other PCSX2 users have the same experience.

PS. I used pcsx2-v1.5.0-dev-1740-gaf3c1fc-windows-x86, but in the release version of PCSX2 1.4.0 it does not seem to work.

Likely it's this issue assuming Xeon's have hyperthreading:

You might want to report your findings there.

Wasn't 1.4 already using VS2015?
You should test differences between this and this to see if that bug really applies.
