Running PCSX2 at full speed

because google probably won't help me, i decided to come here (Hello PCSX2 community!) but enough with introductions.

I try playing GTA SA but sometimes it'll slow down in some spots (at least not severely but it does bother me.)


Here are my Specs:
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit
Processor: Intel® Core™ i7 CPU
RAM: 6.00 MB
GPU: Nvidia Geforce GTX 1050 Ti

Can somebody give some configs or tips to make it run good on my PC or is my PC too much of a potato?

What i7 CPU are you using?

Also at the top of the screen (if not fullscreen) what is the EE and GS % numbers when GTA SA is going slow?

the EE is 15% and the GS is at 0% at 73% (43.63) Speed

and my i7 is a 920 @ 2.67 GHz

Please post your logs since usually those numbers should be higher when a slowdon occures

Using a BIOS file with PCSX2 which you have downloaded from the internet or from a PS2 console you do not own is illegal. You must own the console the BIOS file came from (even if it's broken) to be legal.
