Running slow
#1
Just got the a new laptop [HP Envy 15], but God of War is running slowly. It's supposed to run at 60fps and it runs at consistantly 40, making the game extremely easy. Is there something wrong with my configuration or is this laptop not strong enough to handle the game.

Specs:
Code:

   Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit (6.1, Build 7600) (7600.win7_rtm.090713-1255)

*what is your video card?
*btw we have the same mobile i7 CPU but different HP model mine is the pavillion dv7
anyway that GOW is a pretty demanding 3Dgame,even our i7-720's turbo boost is up to 2.4 GHZ still it's slow and expected the laptop will heat up so fast...best to run on the desktop.
*have you try to set "native" in the GSDX settings it may help a little, set the power plan settings to "High-performance" and your laptop is plugged in the AC power cord.
