On windows 8.1 it says "Could not find a valid configuration" I know that Windows 8 uses the Windows 7 files. Is there a way I can manually install them or trick the program into using them. Also compatibility setting for Windows 8 and 7 didn't work.

BTW this is related because its part of the SCP DS3 plugin. Its under the wrapper folder.

This is not a PCSX2 problem. This is a scarlet DS3 driver issue. You'd get better support for it's thread.
