I am emuing this, and am getting ***** FPS.

I have a Core 2 Duo Proc, some sort of Nvidia GeForce 7000 something, and

Any plugins that can help, or whatever?

What kind of Core 2 Duo? PCSX2's speed is proportional to your processor's speed.
You also didn't mention which PCSX2 version you use and what plugins...
More speed can be obtained by using the latest released beta.

To get a full list of your specs click on the start menu and run dxdiag (windows XP and lower) or just type dxdiag in the vista/windows 7 start menu.

Take a screen shot of the first page that comes up, and check the second page to see exactly what video card you have.

1.7ghz dual core is going to give you "crappy" fps with almost all games. Excluding some 2d ones, and you may be able to get FFX at a decent speed... but that's about it.

Most 3d games require a 3ghz+ dual core. You may be able to push some more speed out of that system using the latest beta build and plugins and using native res for graphics plugin, using lots of speed hacks, and disabling sound inside of the plugins.
