SIms Bustin' Out online weekend

so a friend and I want to use hamachi or something to play the sims Bustin out's online weekend function

its a broadband only function so I wanted to know if there is a plugin or something I need to use it. the game currently says no network adapter was found.

There is a DEV9 plugin out there but I have never used it plus the servers for your game are probably shutdown.

but hamachi won't be usable, you would have to ploay on the editor's servers. And since nobbs is probably right...
