SLAI - Steel Lancer Arena International emu help please

Hello all,

First post and thank you in advance for your help. See below for my machine specs. I feel as though I should be able to get faster speed than the 30-45 fps that I get while playing the game, but I don't understand many of the settings. Can anyone out there give me some config tips or other info on how to speed up my game?

PCSX2 version: 0.9.7 r3878, using only plugins that came with the emu

CPU: AMD Athlon 64 x2 6000+ (dual-core, 3ghz)
OS: Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit
Ram: 3.5gb ddr2 pc5300
Video Card: Nvidia Geforce 8800 GTX (768mb dedicated)

GS: GSdx 3693
-renderer direct3d9 (hardware)
- no interlacing
- all other GS settings at default

PAD: LilyPad svn
- all settings at default, controls mapped to a Nostromo N45 gamepad

SPU2: SPU-X r3702m 1.4.0
- all default settings

CDVD: Linuz Iso CDVD 0.9.0
- iso selected via this plugin, all other settings at default

Try the speed hacks PCSX2 provides.
If those don't help enough you'll need a better pc.
