SPU2-X couldn't open file for recording: recording.wav. Recording to .wav disabled.

I get this error every time I try to record using F12. Video records fine, but no recording.wav file appears anywhere. According to the error, it doesn't record audio at all.

"SPU2-X couldn't open file for recording: recording.wav. Recording to .wav disabled."

I've tried reinstalling, which worked one time and then once I try to record another session, the error appears and I can't fix it. Help me out?

You are allowed to choose where to save the video but the audio is saved without asking in the pcsx2 directory and if you are using the installer version which places pcsx2 in Program Files and if you are on Vista\Win7\Win8,then the problem is probably that UAC again.

Try running pcsx2 as admin
