Hi, I have a AMD Athlon 64 X2 4400+ Processor. I ran the program CPU-Z and it says that my processor supports SSE3 instructions, and when I hit the test button in the graphics configuration window it says it was successful. However, when I try to run the game Dark Cloud 2 it tells me, before the game starts up, "CPU does not support SSE 3.01". Is there some setting I have wrong that I need to change to make this work? Or am I up the creek without a paddle?
Thanks.

tushay. Well played. So I guess there is nothing I could do to get good performance out of this emulator then? Well without spending more money on a new processor.

You do not "Need" SSE3 or SSSE3 to run pcsx2, that is merely optional should have you have those available; PCSX2s use of which would/should be detected automatically anyway via:
cpucaps.hasStreamingSIMD3Extensions
cpucaps.hasSupplementalStreamingSIMD3Extensions
The only thing you can Choose would be the Graphics plugin, use the SSE2 version of GSdx.
(The SSSE3 and SSE4 versions, of which you have support for neither should not be used.)
