SSX(2000) issue with the spot lights
#1
Hey everyone. I have a problem. I play on pcsx2 1.5 dev build. And my problem is that i can see the lights threw the track. When i ride on a jump i can see the lights besides the track before i should see them. I dont use skipdraw because red bars are fixed in dev build 1.5
D3d11 hardware mode with 4x resolution and the rest is standard settings.
Also that happens on 1.4 with skipdraw set to 1.
In software mode its fixed. But game lags as hell.
I use the USA version of the game.

System is [email protected] 16 gb ddr4 3200 ram gtx 1070 strix
I hope someone can help meSmile

I finally found a FIX :
I just had to set the blending unit accuracy to high. GSDX Settings: (https://imgur.com/a/Vg48wyg)
My character was invisibleSad but thi ixe it: (https://imgur.com/a/k4Nl8bu)

If you have a 8700K you can probably afford to ram the rendering threads on a software renderer way up. Try changing the count to 8 and see if that improves the performance at all for you.

Otherwise, this sounds awful similar to the issue with lights, smoke, etc. rendering through objects in Gran Turismo 4... Possibly related?

Switch back to OpenGL, but try using Auto Flush and/or Proad Frame Data in the HW Hacks section

For SSX you have to select the OpenGL render then set the blending unit accuracy to full in order to solve missing/buggy light ingame.

Edit: High do not solve any lightning bugs

I have the Pal version of that game and did not notice the invisible character issue you had, I will retest it sooner.
And I recomand you to put blending unit accuracy to full to have the light variation on the ground.
