SSX3 issues.

hey, i downloaded PCSX2 yesterday, i downloaded ssx3 and started playing. what came to my notice is that the game is often in slow mo, even the announcer talks in slowmo. i've searched up some tutorials but they dont seem to work. is it because my pc is too bad or can you fix it in the video settings?
