SVN 5724 And Ace Combat 5 ( Review Log )
#1
SVN 5724 Update:

Well, i updated my driver card to the beta version as gregory from svn says : "gsdx ogl: AMD users upgrade to 13.8 now"
So, now i can run Ace combat 5 in software mode without glitches, but it lags, even with all hacks enables.. It runs at 37~~34 FPS
in level one i mean.FMV's runs ok without hacks. Also, it only lags in briefing graph.
Well, i guess its a big advance !!!

For now , i will keep myself at Final fanasy XII, but, i wait anxiously for AC5/ACE Zero Support.

Just came here to drop this log because idk where to send this, its not a complain, im just supporting pcsx2 by giving reviews from time to time Smile

Gsdx ogl is jump forward for compatibillity, many games are playable now. The only lack is speed but it has more accuracy in future. Thanks gregory Wink
Im sorry i often misstype because im using cellphone...Y( '',)Y

Software mode is going to have slowdowns unless you have a beastly machine, that's sadly the way of it. You're trading speed/effects for accuracy, and accuracy costs a lot of power.

I made a quick search and nobody is talking about ace combat anymore...
Does anyone have news or does the devs need testers for the game ?

Just want to know if theres any updates and/or you guys need anything

Have you tried it again? Does it need improvements?

Since r5737~r5748 clipping issues have been addressed

Hardware mode is completely working then, besides mipmaps support
Software has it though, and afaik this is the only difference

I get 26FPS in hangars and 36-40 while flying, with my core 2 duo [email protected] in software mode

You have twice cores, so theoretically you should at least reach 50FPS..
enabling MTVU hack or overclocking a little should help
