I've found some threads here that try this for SW2XL without success. That's because this cheat comes from somewhere else in the memory than most common cheats known between PAL and NTSC. However, I asked about this code in a forum for retro gaming and amazingly, a user had the code saved in an archive:
Unlock all Characters (Musou Mode) PAL
2029c904 24030001
