Save Game Converting?

Is it possible to convert the save you made on one build to a new one? I was using r4600, then I downloaded r5186, I have dozens of hours playtime on the previous and 0 on the latter.

You can't convert saved states, but memory cards are cross-version compatible. Load your save state with r4600, save on a memory card, copy the memory card over to the new build and continue playing
