Saving emulator settings

Is there a way to save or backup either global or per game emulator settings? I have some specific emulator settings for Dirge of Cerberus and I’m afraid that if I need to factory reset my steam deck or upgrade emudeck it will wipe out my settings which took a long time to find the optimal settings for.

should be in .config/pcsx2 as long as you're using the appimage
